The learning processes are perhaps the most distinctive feature at SelaQui. They aim at making the students autonomous, lifelong learners, excelling academically & in all manners, growing up as healthy and responsible citizens, ready to occupy leadership positions. Learning by creating an experience, rather than by rote, is engaging and enduring, thus reducing examination stress on one hand and promoting Excellence, on the other. At the conceptual level, the school is committed to Experiential Learning.

In the psychomotor domain the school focuses on both physical fitness as well as skill at games. To encourage students to remain physically fit, there is a system of awarding students gold, silver and bronze medals based on their performance in tests which assess strength, endurance, flexibility, speed and coordination.

Apart from academics the School encourages students to take part in a range of diverse activities such as sculpture, music, photography, theatre, dance, nature club, environmental protection, publishing in-house magazines, organizing guest lectures and participating in inter and intra school competitions. Such activities improve creativity, enhance confidence levels, inculcate discipline, enhance leadership qualities and abilities and stimulate the student to become a team player.

SelaQui provides career counseling from class IX onwards. It arranges for successful and eminent people from different professions to share with the students the pursuit of their achievements. The school counselor monitors each student’s aptitude and provides support in their areas of interest, potential and promise. SelaQui student should eventually be able to find a perfect balance and sync between his/her attitudes, aptitudes, talent and their profession of choice, such that each one of them is poised to succeed and excel in their lives beyond school.
